HOME!

so i drove home on thursday. not a bad drive- just long. i can't believe this will be my last time being home for a whole year! it's crazy to think. i'm currently in the process of unpacking, doing laundry and re-packing! i'm trying really hard not to over-pack, but i'm still unsure what exactly i want to bring. i hear that you can buy anything there for cheap so i'm not too worried if i forget something. im so relieved that school is over- finals were a bit harder than i expected but there's nothing i can do about that now! my last night was wonderful- i was able to pack up my car- go to dinner/target date with aubrie and then meet up with alexandra for a chat in the mission gardens & then a fro-zo's date with sarah & lizzie :) as the night was coming to an end i realized i am going to miss santa clara next year. as much as i couldn't wait for this year to be over, looking back i learned a lot & met some amazing people who i'll never forget. it's really weird to think that next time i return i'll be a senior. i still can't believe i'm half-way through college! last night (Friday June 13th) we met up with the D'Agostini's. It was so great to see them! It has been awhile since we all met up for dinner. I can't believe how much we've all grown up.
father's day was a relaxing day in the barnette house. went to church with dad and then ran some errands. then we went for a nice run (six miles!) ive told some of you that im going to try and run a half marathon while in cape town... we'll see how it all goes!!! then rest of my time at home was really nice... got to see old friends (carrie & elliott) and the gonzalez's & d'agostini's. i really couldn't have asked for a better six days at home!

well my time at home came to an end... wed. jen and i left for new jersey. its nice to be on the east coast & i cant wait to see all the fam.... leaving for the country tomorrow and it'll be nice to relax... until next time, peace & love.
